Autism Communities is a non -profit organization founded in 2016 by Charles Massimo to serve NY young adults residents with autism. In order to be eligible for the program they first must be enrolled in the Self-Direction Program through New York State’s Office For People With Developmental Disabilities.

Autism Communities has a person centered process which helps people with Autism use their self-directed funds to move into a home of their own.

Autism Communities has housing currently available in Suffolk County, and are looking to expand it across Long Island.
