Camp Courageous is a nearly 400 acres of land with 33 buildings that serves nearly 10,000 individuals with special needs on an annual basis.

Camp Courageous welcomes individuals with developmental or physical disabilities or health conditions ranging in age from 3 to adulthood.

Provides a year-round respite and recreational facility for individuals of all ages with special needs.

Before any individual can attend any a camp date, a completed annual camper application is required.

Campers are grouped by gender, age, and ability level to help camp staff to meet the care ratios and give each camper the support they need. No more than six campers are placed in a group

Indoor & Oudoor pool service is available

The Vermazen-Carver Indoor Pool features a lap pool, therapy pool, locker rooms, and a classroom.

Has a Travel Program that provides individuals with special needs, ages 18 and older, the opportunity to experience the thrill of traveling to exciting destinations both domestic and abroad.
