Dr. Thiele is a licensed clinical psychologist, board-certified behavior analyst, and licensed behavior analyst. She specializes in treating those with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and their families. Dr. Thiele graduated with a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Long Island University with a specialization in developmental disabilities.
She has provided her services to the Long island Community for over 15 years. Dr. Thiele in addition to having a private practice, she is also an adjunct professor at St. Joseph’s College and is active in professional organizations within the areas of behavior analysis, developmental disabilities, and psychology.
Services include:
- Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and developmental disabilities from preschool through adulthood
- Families and caregivers (e.g., parents, grandparents, siblings) of individuals with special needs
- Adolescents with ASD and developmental disabilities facing typical struggles of adolescence (e.g., hygiene, friendship, bullying, sexuality and relationships)
- Individuals with ASD and developmental disabilities transitioning into adulthood
- Individuals with ASD and developmental disabilities struggling with anxiety and worry
- Children who demonstrate challenging behavior in the home setting.
