DSANEO provides support, education, and advocacy for people with Down syndrome, their families and communities.
Programs include:
A•C•E•S (Able, Capable, Empowered, Strong) adult program:
Designed to engage people with Down syndrome through education, support and social activities.
Family Grants:
These are made available to the membership of the Down Syndrome Association of Northeast Ohio to provide financial assistance to families.
Financial assistance is awarded for either non-Medical recreational activities such as dance classes, athletic activities or summer camps up to $300 or Direct Medical expenses up to $600. Grants are awarded in the form of a check payable only to the service provider.
DSANEO’s medical outreach program:
Provides information about Down syndrome to families as well as professionals working with this population seeking information
