Exceptional Minds is a  501c3 non-profit professional training academy and studio for visual effects artists and animators with Autism. The academy provides individuals on the Autism Spectrum with the technical and behavioral skills required for employment in the entertainment fields of animation and post production visual effects. The studio contracts for paid industry digital arts projects—providing hands-on experience and employment opportunities for our artists. They offer a variety of programs,:

Ages 12 and up: Summer Workshops (12 yrs old and up)

Ages 18 and up: Part-Time and Full-Time Programs , Apprenticeship Programs , Employment support Services.

All Full-Time graduates receive Employment Support Services including 36 hours of Job Coaching and 30 hours of Vocational Support. While they attempt to place graduates in internal and external employment, Exceptional Minds does not guarantee employment to students or graduates at any time.

Exceptional Minds offers financial aid through a third-party vendor, FAST (Financial Aid and School Tuition) All tuition assistance is financially needs-based and students must be accepted into the program before applying for financial aid.
