Assistive Technology Specialist offers demonstrations and training for a variety of products and software, such as magnification and text-to-speech which enhances client’s computer abilities and independence at home, work, and school environments.

Techniques to navigate around client’s area of residence, neighborhood, and public places are taught. Trainings on the use of a long white cane, using public transportation, crossing streets, medical facilities, workplaces etc.

Transcription of materials such as books and music sheets into Braille.

Vision assessments and demonstrations of magnification equipment and adaptive aids are provided.
