Ruby’s Rainbow, a 501(c)(3) non-profit envisions a world that celebrates people with Down syndrome and supports the pursuit of higher education, employment, acceptance and inclusion for people of all abilities.
Provides college scholarships for persons with Down Syndrome who are at least 18 years old, or who will turn 18 by August 1 of the application year.
Scholarships range between $1,000 and $10,000 and must be utilized in full within one academic year.
Eligibility Criteria:
The applicant must have a desire and intent to enroll or continue enrollment in a post-secondary class or program that will enhance their life through employment skills, independent living or life skills, or interests in any other areas.
Applicant must provide copies of high school diploma or equivalent (e.g., certificate of completion), high school transcript if graduating in the spring of the scholarship year, or proof of acceptance to or current enrollment in a post-secondary program.
Individuals who have previously been awarded a Ruby’s Rainbow scholarship can apply for another scholarship via the RE-APPLY Application.
