SANYS is an organization founded and led by people who have developmental disabilities to support those who have developmental disabilities. They want to promote awareness of the civil rights and responsibilities for people who are disabled and fight for equal citizenship. They want to help these people learn the skill of speaking up or defending themselves non-violently.
