Sprout is a private, non-profit dedicated to helping individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities to grow through challenging and safe travel experiences.

Participants experience age-appropriate, recreational and leisure activities in a small group setting.

These activities enhance mobility, self-confidence and socialization of participants.

Participants usually travel within the typical group size of 10 and 3 leaders.

There is also an annual Sprout Film Festival. A weekend festival that showcases films and video related to the field of developmental disabilities.

Through Sprout’s Make-A-Movie program videos are made using people with developmental disabilities as actors in narratives and as subjects of documentaries.
