Wheelchairs 4 Kids strives to give children with physical disability and youth a better quality of life.

Provides wheelchairs, home, and vehicle modifications as well as other assistive and therapeutic devices for children that have limited mobility due to illness, accident or abuse.

Wheelchairs: Provides new or nearly new wheelchairs for children who have outgrown their current equipment or need a chair with more features and support.

Vehicle Modifications – Provides wheelchair ramps for vans and SUV’s that meet certain criteria.  Seats must be removable, and the vehicle cannot have automatic sliding doors.  The parent or guardian must own the vehicle or provide a notarized letter from the owner permitting the modification.

Home Modifications – Provides some home modifications such as ramps, door widening, grab bars, etc.  Each home modification is evaluated on a case-by-case basis dependent on the structure of the home.  The parent or guardian must own the home or provide a notarized letter from the owner permitting the modification.

Assistive Devices– Provides a myriad of other assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts, gait trainers, bathing solutions, etc.
