NuPrisma Grant Information:

The NuPrisma Grant is a grant for individuals with a disability and/or special needs that will award up to $500 to help cover expenses otherwise not covered by insurance, but very much needed to help enrich their life experience, whether they have a diagnosis of Autism, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorders; Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing; Visually Impaired with Blindness or Low Vision; Developmental Coordination Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, Learning Disabilities; Psychiatric Disabilities; Speech and Language Disabilities, and/or any other physical or neurological disability or disorders.

Grant application period for 2024 is Open from March 1st until November 15. Recipient(s) will be notified by December 15th 2024.

Grant Information and Eligibility:

• Grant applicant must be logged in to apply for the Grant.
• Grant applicant and provider must reside within the United States of America
• Grant must be used towards any of the expenses covered detailed below.
• Grant criteria does not consider household income as part of eligibility
• Applicant must accept terms for the application confirming information submitted is correct to the best of their knowledge
• Applicant must adhere to Terms of Use and Privacy Policy of this website
• Grant Application Fee is $12 (application fee is applied back into the grant program to make this grant possible.)

NuPrisma reserves the right to distribute funding at its sole discretion.

Expenses covered:

• Enrichment programs (emotional support groups, social groups, craft classes, living skills classes, swimming lessons, equestrian therapy, self-defense lessons, summer camp, (includes virtual/distance learning settings), etc.)
• Health related services not covered under insurance: clinical procedures, medicine, therapy, prosthesis, including telehealth, etc.
• Respite care
• Equipment: Wheelchairs, assistive technology equipment, iPads, care devices, hearing aids, sensory friendly equipment, etc.
• Vehicle modifications: lifts, ramps and transfer boards
• Therapy dogs

Expenses not covered:

• Travel expenses (mileage, parking, airfare, lodging, etc.)
• Home improvements or modification projects
• Alternative or experimental medicine (drugs) or therapy treatments
• Wheelchair-accessible van purchases
• Requests for research funding
• Request to cover other business or Not-for-profit organizational grants
• Requests for debt reduction/past medical bills
• Insurance deductibles
